The evening consists of Dinner for the moms, Guest speakers, DVD talks, discussions and more. Moppets and God's Adventure Club will be available for the kids.
MOPS stands for "mothers of preschoolers" - but don't let that confuse you. MOPS is about meeting the needs of every mom of a child from conception through kindergarten. Whether you're urban, suburban, rural, stay-at-home, working, teen, adoptive, special-needs, single or married, MOPS is for you! We would be so thrilled to have you join us on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month unless it is a holiday.
At MOPS we believe that you were meant to live deeply and so we have created this year's theme to inspire you to choose the extraordinary.
Our study and theme for this year will be "We Go Together".
If we are being honest, sometimes deciding to flourish scares us, because flourishing is wild and organic. It is unpredictable and hard to define and far from tame. It is a dance with holy goodness. And that is both terrifying and thrilling.

"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them; for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 19
Your children are cared for in a safe, clean and stimulating environment while moms get a chance to enjoy the company of other mothers. They will be placed in an age appropriate room. There is a regulated number of supervising adults per child. If you have questions or concerns about the placement of your child, please talk to Sue Vukson. We currently have five rooms: 0- 9 months, 9 - 23 months, 2 years, 3 years and 4 years.
Please REGISTER your child(ren) on the Mops Facebook Group each week in order for them to take part in the Moppets Program. Otherwise you will be asked to stay with your child(ren). If you have not registered for Mops on our official registration evening in early September, your child(ren) will be put on a waiting list. They will be able to attend if there is a space in their proper age group depending on the numbers already enrolled by those who registered on Registration evening.
Outside each classroom there will be a signup sheet for you to check your child in and out. Make sure any special instructions for your child is given to the supervising adult.
Please label ALL items you bring for your child (diaper bag, sippy cup, etc.) If your child cries for more than 10 minutes and is unable to be consoled, someone will come and get you. If you want someone to get you before ten minutes, please let the childcare workers know so they can come and get you sooner.
If your child is not feeling well and/or could be contagious, please do not bring them to MOPS. If they have vomited or had a fever within 24 hours we want to avoid other children from contacting the illness.
